About the Presenter
Larry Kulchawik has spent his entire 45-year career doing trade show marketing. He earned a degree in design at Southern Illinois University studying under world thinker Buckminster Fuller. Larry worked in management for three of the largest exhibit design/ supplier companies in the world (Exhibitgroup/Derse/3D Exhibits) and served as president of both EDPA and IFES trade show industry associations.
After serving as president of the world association IFES, he reached out to each of the global exhibit company owners who were members of IFES and asked them to share their thoughts on how to exhibit in their country. With this information, he wrote a book entitled- Trade Shows from One Country to the Next. This guidebook reviews venues, regulations, exhibit design, and cultural differences when working a trade show in 45 different countries. The book is now on its second edition.
Larry spent his entire career in Chicago working closely with the Chicago Chamber of Commerce, International Trade Association, and World Trade Center- Chicago to promote international trade show marketing to world-class companies in Chicago. Today he is a consultant and lives in Parker, CO.
