January 16 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Climate change has a tremendous impact on communities in Colorado. We must understand and be proactive about the increased risks.
Join us to learn more about climate, disasters, and community resilience.
Colorado communities face growing threats from drought, wildfires, floods, and other climate-related risks. Some individuals and groups in our communities are particularly vulnerable to these challenges. Climate resilience is the ability to anticipate, prepare for, and respond to hazardous events, trends, or disturbances related to climate. Improving climate resilience involves assessing how climate change will create new, or alter current, climate-related risks, and taking steps to better cope with these risks.
What: We will have a panel of renowned local experts and lively discussion on the ways that climate change and climate related disasters impact communities in Colorado. Additional details will be forthcoming.
