Big Pitch Competition – International Women’s Day: Women in Sports

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is celebrating Women in Sports. Through the Big Pitch event, we are encouraging entrepreneurs and non-profits to pitch their ideas of how they are using technology to move the needle on sports participation, well-being and wellness.
Application deadline: February 7th at 5:00 p.m.
Each team will be asked to pitch an idea that is viable, impactful and innovative. How will your company or organization enhance performance and well-being for women and girls? You will have the opportunity to share your idea with judges from the local sports industry, as well as with Microsoft Technical Center employees.
The Big Pitch event will be held on Saturday, February 22nd. It will host to up to 10 teams of 2-3 representatives who will pitch their ideas to our judges.

ADDITIONAL EVENT DETAILS
Each team will have 15 minutes for your pitch, creativity is encouraged.
Teams will be provided their pitch slots upon confirmation of their acceptance.
Teams should be women-led. Only 2 people from the team need to attend.
There will be THREE finalist teams selected to attend the 2020 International Women’s Day Luncheon on March 6th and present their pitch to our finalist judges.
We hope to encourage women to use their unique perspectives and knowledge to address world issues. Please share this website with your organization, entrepreneur clubs, and other interested individuals whom you feel would benefit from this experience.
