Dr. Renate Hahlen, Minister Counselor of EU Development of the European Union Delegation to the United States of America, will discuss how EU development policy, as part of EU external action, has evolved over the decades. Dr. Hahlen will also describe where EU development policy stands now and future challenges in EU-Africa and Caribbean relations.
