WorldDenver is pleased to announce that it will hold a Pitch Competition for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellows. Each Fellow will present his or her business or organizational pitch to a group of prominent judges from the Denver community. The winner from this competition will go on to compete in the finals in Washington D.C. during the Closing Summit of the YLAI Program. A networking reception will follow the competition.

A Torah of Justice for Israel

Rabbi Arik Ascherman has dedicated his life to upholding the Jewish tradition of universal human rights, winning victories for Palestinians and unemployed Israelis alike, and sometimes placing himself in physical danger. After leading “Rabbis For Human Rights” for 21 years, Rabbi Ascherman recently founded “Torat Tzedek-Torah of Justice.” Professor Alan Gilbert will serve as the discussant.

Guest Speaker Nickson Parmisa

Nickson Parmisa graduated from the East Africa School of Theology with a degree in criminology and security studies. He also has diploma in tourism administration.
