African Center Coffee Social

Coffee socials offer students, faculty, and community members the opportunity to gather and share their work in Africa, or learn about Africa (for those who have never been). This is a great way to meet others and discuss collaboration ideas! African coffee is served, with breakfast snacks, tea, juice, and water. All are welcome! All coffee socials are held in the Montreal Room at Johnson Hall Room 108, which is the School of Global Environmental Sustainability at Colorado State University.

Water for People- Country Director Open House

Meet three Country Directors leading Water For People’s nine country programs across Africa, India, and Latin America for water and sanitation services. The directors will talk about their programs in their respective countries, and then there will be time to mingle afterwards. This event is free and open to the public. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Travel Fair: a showcase of student travel opportunities

The event is free and open to the public, with more than 20 vendors, representing language immersion, travel, gap year, and service opportunities (national, as well as international) for students from elementary- to high school. In addition, expect FOOD! DCIS teachers and students with upcoming trips will be selling food to raise funds.

They will transform the Commons area into a marketplace, where organizations in our community will sell crafts, art, jewelry, and other global goodies. Friends, family, and kids are all welcome.
