Breakfast Briefing: U.S.-European Security Issues

July 24 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am

Briefings are open to WorldDenver members at the Premier level and above. Space is limited to 35 participants for this program!

Join WorldDenver and the Colorado European Union Center of Excellence (CEUCE) as we welcome an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) delegation focused on the theme of U.S. – European Security Issues for a morning of lively conversation!

While in Colorado, the participants will meet with professional counterparts to learn about promoting women in security, interagency counterterrorism operations, think tank research on emerging threats, counterterrorism and community education, and cooperation between the military and law enforcement.

During this breakfast briefing, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in round table conversations with our 19 delegates from various European countries. The conversations will be moderated by Professor Don Smith from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. Professor Smith specializes in environmental law and policy of the European Union.

You can read more about the IVLP participants and their backgrounds here.

The Briefing will be held at the John E. Moye Faculty Library in the Sturm College of Law. Breakfast and coffee will be provided.
